CAN THE YEAR 2016 DO ANYTHING TO ME?
Does an year carry within itself an ability to do? An ability to change or transform our situations? Will 2016 do anything to better our lives? The answer to all these questions is a big NO! An year is a group of days put together for the purpose of timing and dating. It is a mark of seasons and dispensations of physical time. On the positive however, an year is a dispensation of opportunities. Each coming day in 2016 shall present each one of us with an opportunity and a chance to take advantage of. The question then becomes: What shall I DO with the opportunities that shall come my way in 2016? Although an year has no magical powers to DO anything to an inactive person, it carries with it opportunities for any wise person to take advantage of.

Ladies and gentlemen, don't wait for 2016 to do this or that to you! What you can do as early as now is to be ready to grab the opportunities in 2016 with both hands and invest in them. We must be ready to move out of our comfort zones and refuse the status quo that characterized 2015. We definitely cannot expect a different 2016 if we live exactly as we did in 2015. There is no magical powers that come with an year changing in 31st December. What comes is another chance to take opportunities and act on them with diligence and increased zeal and discipline.

Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”. It really doesn't matter that there's absolutely no evidence that Einstein actually made this statement; it's still a great quote! Ecclesiastes 9:11 says "I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all." WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR TIME AND CHANCE IN 2016? What will YOU DO in 2016?
